The neighborhood is in zip code 32301, and all of the townhouses are built on Cameliawood Circle off Cameliawood Lane and Richview Road. Bonaventure is northeast of the intersection of Apalachee Parkway and Capital Circle SE.

Bonaventure residents don’t have to go far for convenience shopping or great outdoor recreation. Tom Brown Park is less than two miles away and is a haven for dog owners who enjoy walking their pets along its shaded trails or letting them run free in the dog park. The unique park also has a Frisbee golf course, playground, and BMX bicycle course, as well as plenty of shade trees and open spaces for picnics. Nearby Governor’s Park, a newer city park, has trails and a mysterious old mansion.

Florida State University and Florida A&M University are about five miles west of Bonaventure. Residents can easily get to the schools on Highway 61. Many Tallahassee residents love to rally behind FSU’s popular football and basketball teams, which often are nationally ranked.

Governor’s Square Mall, which has four large department stores and a number of smaller shops, is a short drive from the neighborhood. Adjacent outdoor shopping centers have big-box stores and popular chain restaurants. On Saturday mornings, local farmers and artisans sell produce and crafts at a farmer’s market in the downtown Tallahassee.
