Wentworth Apartments for Rent

Located in Pensacola, Florida’s Escambia County, the Wentworth neighborhood is encompassed by West Airport Boulevard to the north, North Palafox Street to the east, Beverly Parkway to the south, and North W Street to the west. The homes in this older neighborhood are centered around Camelia Drive and Concordia Boulevard, just north of West Michigan Avenue.

Homes within Wentworth vary in construction from stucco exterior to brick. Wood-frame and manufactured homes are also found throughout the neighborhood. Massive Florida oak trees shade a large portion of the Wentworth neighborhood. Although the neighborhood has a rural atmosphere, just outside are a variety of businesses, shopping, and entertainment venues.

Because Wentworth is such a small neighborhood, it may be difficult to find a rental home directly in Wentworth. However, there are many apartment complexes located just outside the neighborhood.

Wentworth is located less than three miles north of downtown Pensacola and about one and a half miles east of Marcus Pointe Golf Course. Pensacola State College and Pensacola Regional Airport are approximately three miles to the east of Wentworth. This neighborhood is centrally located near many Pensacola attractions. Escambia Bay lies less than six miles to the east, just beyond the airport.

About two miles to the east of Wentworth is the three-acre Englewood Park, which is home to the Pensacola Boys and Girls Club. Closer to Wentworth is Brent Athletic Park. Located about a half-mile to the southwest of Wentworth, the 30-acre Brent Athletic Park offers sports activities and youth programs. The park also baseball and football fields.
