Golfers living in Sherwood will live just a few minutes south of the Osceola Municipal Golf Course, a public 18-hole course that is both challenging and fun. Several other public and private courses exist close to home, as well, including the Green Meadows Par 3 course and Marcus Pointe Golf Course.

The nearby highways host many shopping, dining and entertainment options, including necessities such as supermarkets and a Wal-Mart Supercenter. For major shopping trips, this community is within 10 minutes of larger retail centers such as the University and Cordova Malls.
