Pen Haven is a neighborhood on the far west side of the coastal city of Pensacola, Florida, approximately 10 minutes from the central downtown area. Most of this community is bounded by State Highway 295 on the east and State Highway 298 on the south, with the Fairfield and Westover Heights subdivisions located immediately to the north. However, a smaller portion of land to the south of Highway 298 is also considered part of this neighborhood, extending roughly to Kinnear Avenue. This predominately residential neighborhood is made up of several hundred single-family home sites. However, a few commercial offerings also exist here, primarily along the bounding highways. Tulip Park is a very small neighborhood park that exists just outside of community bounds to the northwest, offering a playground and open green space for games and sports. Several other small parks exist nearby as well, including Meadowbrook Park to the west.

Many shopping and dining options exist within a few miles of Pen Haven, including essentials like supermarkets, gas stations, and a Wal-Mart Supercenter. For entertainment, a bowling alley, movie theater, and several pubs and cocktail lounges can also be found nearby. Several small retail centers such as Corry Field Shopping Mart also exist within a few miles of home, but for major shopping trips, residents may make the 10-mile trip to the larger Cordova or University Malls.

Students in Pen Haven are within walking distance north of West Pensacola Elementary. Several other public and private schools are situated within a short drive, including Escambia High and Pensacola Catholic High School.

For golfers, the Osceola Municipal Golf Course is located just a few minutes to the north, and the Pensacola Country Club is situated a few miles to the south.
