Glendale, Pensacola is a community located within the port city of Pensacola, Florida. The neighborhood primarily consists of cozy brick homes which on landscaped home sites that feature native trees such as saw palmetto, date palm and Japanese honeysuckle. The neighborhood’s park-like lawns also host a variety of blooms including daisies, periwinkles, lilacs and lilies.
Glendale is located in an area that is denoted by West Jackson Street on the north, New Warrington Road on the east, Highway 98 on the south and West Fairfield Drive on the west. Shopping is close by at the Southgate Shopping Center, located southeast of the community. Residents also have easy access to a number of area sites and attractions, as Interstate 110 lies east of the neighborhood. Golfers in the area can tee off at the Pensacola Country Club, which lies to the southeast, or at the Osceola Municipal Golf Course, which is located directly north of the community.
