West 9 Mile Road is the place to go for shopping and dining. More choices are available on Highway 29, less than a mile away.

Pensacola also houses a hockey team, the Ice Flyers, which is a part of the Southern Professional Hockey League. Games are played at the Civic Center about 20 minutes away.
