Colonial Park is a small, Brent community of Pensacola. It encompasses the 32505 zip code. The neighborhood of Colonial Park is bordered to the west and north by Fun City Boulevard, which semi-circles around. Pensacola Boulevard/Highway 29 is the eastern border of Colonial Park. County Road 453/North w Street is its southern border.
There are excellent, highly-rated public and private schools that serve the Colonial Park community. Pensacola Christian School is a little over a half-mile south of Colonial Park. W.J. Woodham High School, noted for its active and devoted teaching staff, is only a mile to the east of the neighborhood. Jubilee Christian Academy, Brentwood Middle School and Wedgewood Middle School are within a one-mile radius of Colonial Park.
Also, there is a water park, Sam’s Fun City, within walking distance of anywhere in Colonial Park. This is a huge draw for kids in the area. It has a go-kart area, miniature golf and a multitude of rides. Fast Eddie’s Fun Center, another popular Pensacola amusement park, is only a mile and a half south of the community.
Cultural attractions and educational opportunities abound near Colonial Park as well. The Anna Lamar Switzer Gallery is a fine art showcase of Pensacola State College, and it’s only three miles east of the community. The Pensacola Museum of Art is a few miles southeast of Colonial Park.
Golf courses are plentiful near the neighborhood. The Marcus Pointe Golf Course lies on rolling woodland. It was rated as a great value by Golf Digest, and is only about a mile southwest of Colonial Park.
