Hilltop Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The area known as the Hilltop begins at Guidy Lane and moves east along Peakview Drive until it ends in a court. Like many of the residential streets in Pensacola, Peakview Drive is connected to a major roadway, but it is designed to accommodate only the residents of Hilltop. Also, like the area neighborhoods, many of the mature trees were saved when the subdivision was built.
Hilltop is northeast of downtown Pensacola. Thanks to careful planning, the residents have no problem getting from home to one of the main roadways and highways that make commuting easy. With Interstate 10 being nearby, trips along the Gulf Coast are easy and quick.
Living in Pensacola means being close to the rest of the countries vacation spots. In a few minutes, Hilltop residents can be on the snow white sands of Pensacola Beach, with lots of water activities and a vibrant shopping district. The Escambia Bay Wildlife Management District offers 34,000 acres of natural preserved habitat for fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, or a great place for bird watching. The Tarkiln Bay Bayou Preserve is an amazing preserve of wetlands where you can see everything from dolphins hunting in Perdido Bay to the carnivorous Pitcher Plant, unique to northern Florida.
Naval aviation and Pensacola have been partners for many years. The Naval Air Station is the “Cradle of Naval Aviation” and the home of the acrobatic Blue Angels. Pensacola residents can often see the Angels practicing their death defying routines and the opportunity to see them perform at an air show or two. The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola chronicles the history of Naval Aviation with thousands of exhibits and artifacts.
