Situated approximately five miles north of downtown Orlando, Maitland Center is one of the city’s most popular commuter and business office communities. The focal point of Maitland Center is Maitland 200, a professional park that encompasses lodging, restaurants, retail establishments, and conference centers.
Located in the 32751 zip code area, Maitland Center is bordered on the north by Semoran Boulevard, on the south by Maitland Boulevard, on the east by Interstate 4, and on the west by State Road 434. Many of the employees who work in the more than 45 office buildings in the Maitland Center area live in or near Maitland. You see lots of area residents and employees at the RDV Sports Complex at Maitland 200, a massive health club and wellness center where the NBA’s Orlando Magic practice. The facility also includes a hockey rink where Maitland Center area children play in junior hockey leagues.
Residents in the Maitland Center area have access to an impressive collection of cultural attractions and events. The Enzian Theater, a full-time independent movie theater and café, features a wide variety of foreign and independent films and hosts the annual Florida Film Festival. The community is also home to the Maitland Arts Center, which is a thriving community arts center.
The main outdoor gathering place for Maitland Center residents is Lake Lily Park, which hosts the Maitland Spring Arts Festival, the Rotary Arts Festival, the weekly Maitland Farmer’s Market, the Taste of Maitland, and several holiday events.
For additional recreation, residents have access to 18 community parks and recreation areas and more than 20 lakes, the highlights of which are Lake Maitland, Lake Sybelia, and Lake Minnehaha.
