There is a swimming beach here, and this lake has a year-round wakeboarding school. Lake Minnehaha and Lake Louisa both offer boating and fishing. Lake Louisa State Park has 15 miles of equestrian trails and 20 miles of hiking trails.

From local farmers markets to exciting new upscale retail centers, shoppers have plenty of choices. Downtown Clermont’s Farmers Market offers lots of local produce and has a festive air, with local vendors preparing food on site. For destination shopping and entertainment, Pointe Orlando, about a half-hour drive, is the place to go. From improv comedy clubs to blues bars to the performing arts there is something for almost every whim. Pointe Orlando also has great shopping and dining.
