Tennis Village is a residential neighborhood located a mile and a half southwest of downtown Titusville, Florida. Residences are multi-story attached condominium units bordering the west side of South Park Avenue. The condos extend from Vista Terrace southward to Heritage Drive on the west side of Country Lane. Nearby communities include Country Club Heights and Titus Village.
One of the area’s larger commercial districts is roughly three miles south of Tennis Village near Interstate 95. Lining Columbia Boulevard are Walmart Supercenter, Staples, and Target. Dining establishments include Starbucks, Denny’s, and various fast-food restaurants. Closer to home, downtown Titusville provides residents with local flavors and specialty shops. Public buses travel throughout downtown and to the historic district, which is home to Titusville Playhouse and North Brevard Historical Museum.
Two miles east of the neighborhood is the Indian River Lagoon. Residents can enjoy land and water recreation at the nearby William J. Manzo Memorial Park, which lies on the river’s edge. Park visitors can stroll along the boardwalk or fish from the shoreline. Park amenities include picnic areas, playground equipment, and paved walking paths. The park also provides an ideal position for viewing a NASA space launch from Kennedy Space Center, which is located on the other side of the river.
Children living in Tennis Village are only a few miles from Titusville public schools. Apollo Elementary School, Andrew Jackson Middle School, and Titusville High School are all within a two-mile radius of the community. Titusville Public Library is ideally located on the south side of the high school. Brevard Community College is north of downtown, roughly three miles north of the neighborhood.
