The Sonesta Walk community in the Palm Bay area of Florida is an attractive neighborhood of stucco-faced homes situated south of Eber Road, west of South Babcock Street, north of Palm Bay Road Northeast and east of Dairy Road. Residents in the community can find plenty in the way of activities too as they are close to golf, shopping, dining, parks and, of course, the beach.
For those residents who enjoy nature walks, they will find a nice retreat at the Erna Nixon Park, a popular spot in the area for nature lovers and birders. Visitors can see flora and fauna such as shadbush trees, oaks, hickories, spruce pines, saw palmettos and bracken ferns. The park is a home to gray squirrels and raccoons along with birds, such as the state bird, the mockingbird, summer tanager, eastern towhee and quail.
As mentioned, the neighborhood is close to shopping (via I-95) and malls, such as the Melbourne Square Mall, which has recently been renovated. The mall features such anchor stores as J.C. Penny, Dillard’s and Macy’s and has been upgraded with new tile and carpeting. Patrons can browse at numerous specialty shops and take a break at one of the various eateries, including Asian Chao, Chick-fil-A, Gyros & More and Starbucks.
Its convenient and scenic location makes the Sonesta Walk neighborhood a pleasant and affordable Floridian habitat, which is why it’s also one of the preferred locations in the Palm Bay area.
