Pineridge is a neighborhood on the south side of Cocoa in Brevard County. The community is bordered by Fiske Boulevard on the east and Dixon Boulevard to the north. It is a five-minute drive from central Cocoa and 10 minutes from Rockledge. Residents are close to shopping and dining, with grocery stores and restaurants lining Dixon Boulevard. The Cocoa/Rockledge and Melbourne/Titusville bus routes make nearby stops, so it isn’t necessary to own a car.
Public education is provided by the Brevard County School District. Endeavour Elementary Magnet School is adjacent to the community, an easy walk even for younger children. Other schools within a mile radius include Christian Heritage Academy, Crosswinds/Rainwater School for Girls, and Clearlake Middle School. College students can easily commute to Brevard Community College and the Florida Institute of Technology.
Religious services in the vicinity may be found at Celebration Tabernacle, Soaring Eagles International Church, Cocoa Presbyterian Church, Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal Church, and the Korean Community Church of Cocoa, all within walking distance. The closest library is the Central Brevard Library, about a mile away.
The closest recreation area is Carl Anderson Park, on Fiske Boulevard. It has a playground, picnic pavilion, and basketball court. Residents also have the Cocoa West Recreation Complex, which features ball fields, basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts, as well as a community center and computer lab.
Residents will enjoy visiting historic Cocoa Village, which features Victorian architecture and upscale boutiques. Pineridge is also close to Cocoa Beach, which offers swimming, surfing, boat charters, and a tiki bar and restaurant on the famous Cocoa Beach Pier.
