On the south side of Melbourne lies the community of Pine Creek. Listed in the 32901 ZIP code in Brevard County, this residential neighborhood is located east of Dairy Road, north of Eber Road, and just south of the Florida Institute of Technology.
The Pine Creek community is a gated community for residents aged 55 and older. Built by Lennar Homes between 2002 and 2004, it features 190 single-family homes, each with an attached two-car garage.
Pine Creek residents can enjoy amenities such as an outdoor pool, fitness center, clubhouse, library, and hobby and billiard rooms. The grounds are well maintained by the homeowners’ association and contain several picturesque ponds and walking areas.

The neighborhood of Pine Creek is also near health care facilities, including Healthsouth Sea Pines Rehabilitation and the Palm Bay Community Hospital, about five miles south of the community.
