Garden Terrace in a neighborhood in Melbourne. The community is located to the east of the intersection of County Road 511 and Croton Road.
Wickam Park is about two miles away from the neighborhood. It has just about everything a person could want out of a park. A spacious 391 acres, it offers two golf courses, hiking trails, jogging, and campsites. There is a community section where campers can meet and socialize with others in the park. The park also hosts a lot of nature-themed events such as Breakfast with the Birds and stargazing events, as well as many other adventures throughout the grounds.
The Garden Terrace area is also close to the Atlantic Ocean. This means that not only is Garden Terrace close to campgrounds like Wickham Park, it is also near the many beaches that line the ocean.
Beef O’ Brady’s is a bar about three miles from Garden Terrace. It is the title sponsor of the Beef ‘O’Brady’s Bowl played in Florida.
Another nice feature of Garden Terrace is the selection of schools near home. Four elementary schools, a private school, and a high school all are within a mile of the neighborhood.
The area is close to the Kennedy Space Center. Even nearer is a National Weather Service branch on Croton Road. Brevard Community College is also located close to the Garden Terrace area.
