The Croton Pines neighborhood of Melbourne, on Florida’s east coast, is situated north of West Eau Gallie Boulevard, or Route 518, and south of Lake Washington Road, just off of Croton Road.

Golf enthusiasts appreciate the nearby golf courses, Crane Creek Reserve and Mallard’s Landing. Both are public courses with a discounted greens fee for residents. Facilities include a pro shop, driving range, practice putting greens, locker room, and snack bar.
Beach lovers and surfers love the Indian Harbour and Satellite Beaches, just across the Indian River Lagoon on the Eau Gallie Causeway. These beaches are considered the best sunning and surfing beaches on Florida’s east coast.
Another popular site is the Melbourne Greyhound Park, with live greyhound dog racing and 45 Las Vegas style poker tables available.
The Indian River Lagoon provides water enthusiasts multiple marinas and boat ramps near the Eau Gallie Causeway. Naturalists are drawn to the waterfront to photograph and document the many species of wildlife found in the river and ocean including the majestic manatee.
