Surrounded by the golden hues and harshly beautiful landscape of the Mojave Dessert, the city of Victorville offers the best of high desert living. Located 36 miles north of San Bernardino, it is easily reached by I-15.
Victorville has the Mojave River winding alongside it, and Spring Valley Lake is a short drive away. On the north side of the lake you’ll find Mojave Narrows Regional Park. A true desert oasis, this park features hiking, fishing, camping, horseback riding, and boating. It has a zero-depth water park, horse and pony rentals, and the annual Huck Finn Jubilee. Nearby, you’ll find Calico Ghost Town, one of the last remaining mining towns in the region.
Victorville is home to Victor Valley College, 19 parks, and two golf courses. Old Town Victorville features antique stores, specialty shops, and the Route 66 Museum. The San Bernardino County Fair is held in Victorville and has carnival rides, livestock competitions, exhibits, a rodeo, and live music.
