With its sprawling, manicured lawns and busy storefronts, Wrightmost Corners is a business and residential community in Sunnyvale, California. It’s just east of San Jose and around an hour southeast of San Francisco.
The busy West Fremont Avenue marks the northern border of the Wrightmost Corners neighborhood, while Cascade Drive serves as its southern border. South Mary Avenue is the easternmost part of the community, and Wright Avenue is its western border.
The De Anza Square Shopping Center is within easy walking distance, just east of the Wrightmost Corners neighborhood. Many delectable restaurants are also within the neighborhood or just beyond it, including the Country Gourmet Restaurant American Bistro, Pizza Pub, China Wok, Round Table Pizza, and Szechuan Garden Express.
Wrightmost Corners is also pet-friendly. You will often see pet owners walking their precious pooches on the neighborhood sidewalks. Las Palmas Dog Park is only a mile northeast of the center of Wrightmost Corners, making for a split-second commute for dogs and their owners. The park is very popular. The fenced-in, off-leash area is all dirt, so dog owners don’t have to worry about fleas.
For those that don’t have dogs, the Las Palmas Park is a great place to get in touch with nature and work out. The dog park is only a small part of the bigger Las Palmas Park, which offers a waterpark, tennis courts, and a playground for children.
Residents don’t have to go so far as a mile to find a big park to enjoy the great outdoors, however. San Antonio Park is only a few blocks to the west, within walking distance of anywhere in Wrightmost Corners. De Anza Park is only a half-mile to the north, while Trinity Park is a half-mile northeast of the community.
Cultural attractions are also plentiful around Wrightmost Corners. The Sands Mechanical Museum is less than a mile southeast of the neighborhood. Within two miles are the Sunnyvale Heritage Park Museum, the Lace Museum, the California History Center, and the Cupertino Historical Society & Museum.
