These parks and beaches include Milagra Ridge County Park, Linda Mar Beach, Graywhale Cove State Beach, Rockaway Beach, Sharp Park Beach, San Bruno Mountain State and County Park, Montara State Beach-McNee Ranch, and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

For golfers, Sharp Park offers the Sharp Park Golf Course, which also offers an archery range.

To protect its rare native plants, Mori Point in Sharp Park has an on-leash dog park.

Other family-friendly attractions close to Westview include the Pacifica Pier, Pacifica Center for Arts, Pacifica Skate Park, Alcatraz, Palace of Fine Arts, Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and Golden Gate Bridge.

Locally, shopping can be found at the Linda Mar Shopping Center, Westlake Shopping Center, and St. Francis Square. Shopping outside of Pacifica includes the Serramonte Center and the Shops at Talforan.
