Strawberry Park is a moderately populated neighborhood in southwestern San Jose. With an area of 0.462 square miles, it has a population of approximately 3,000 residents. Moorpark Avenue serves as the neighborhood’s northern border, and it is curved around to serve as the western border, as well. Williams Road borders the Strawberry Park community to the south, and Saratoga borders the neighborhood to the east.
More than 80 percent of the houses in the Strawberry Park neighborhood are single-family detached units. There are also townhouses, duplexes, and apartment buildings within the borders of this residential community.
For those who desire a locale with shopping opportunities within close proximity to home, Strawberry Park is ideally located next to many shopping meccas of San Jose. The Mitsuwa Marketplace is within walking distance of the community. The Park Lane Plaza Shopping Center is at the southwest corner of the neighborhood. Westgate Mall is only a bit over a mile to the south of Strawberry Park, and it hosts such stores as a huge Nordstrom’s. This area is also a popular destination for those who enjoy visiting a variety of eateries.
There are many seniors who call the Strawberry Park area home. Senior care, therefore, is a priority. The Rose Meadows Elder Care is located in the neighborhood, with the Homewatch Caregivers of Santa Clara County just to the northeast of the community. The Golden Age Senior Care Center is only a mile southeast of Strawberry Park, while Campbell Village, another facility for seniors, is a little over a mile south of the community.
There are many cultural attractions in and near Strawberry Park for people of all ages to enjoy. The Liliana International Art Gallery is located just west of the neighborhood. Also nearby are the Towne Gallery, Z Gallerie – Santana Row, and Christine Art Center.
