The small community of Lindenville lies in South San Francisco, just northwest of the San Francisco International Airport. This community is bordered on the east by the Bayshore Freeway, on the north by Railroad Avenue, on the west by South Spruce Avenue and Huntington Avenue, and on the south by Tanforan Avenue and the Quentin L. Kopp Freeway.
The area is filled with both residential housing and standalone commercial storefronts that litter the full expanse. Adjacent to the Lindenville neighborhood on the southwestern side are a number of large shopping centers that Lindenville residents find themselves frequenting, including El Camino Real Shopping Center, which boasts great shopping and dining options.
Parks are also easy to come by in the immediate surroundings of the Lindenville community. Orange Memorial Park lies just to the west, and walkers often respectfully stroll along the impeccably manicured grounds. Paradise Valley Park is a short distance northwest.
Several wealthy Lindenville residents are members of the California Golf Club, which offers sprawling golf courses and a club house with dining and fitness activities.
San Bruno Mountain State Park is just a half-mile north of Lindenville. It is one of the most amazing parks in the entire Silicon Valley area. The wild animals that live in San Bruno Mountain State Park are quite prodigious, and avid hikers can sometimes catch a glimpse there of a huge number of species that share Silicon Valley with the human population.
Because Lindenville is so close to both Junipero Serra Freeway, or Interstate 280, and the Bayshore Freeway, or Highway 101, residents of the community are able to quickly get to and fro, regardless of their initial destination, throughout the entire region. This is made especially true by the proximity of Lindenville to the San Francisco International Airport, which quite literally exists adjacent to the Lindenville neighborhood on the southeastern side.
