Due to its location on the south side of Interstate 280, Clinic is just outside of Central San Jose. Clinic lies immediately between San Jose State University and Kelley Park, within walking distance to both.
Clinic is an ideal neighborhood for the eco-conscious. Literally everything downtown is within walking distance from Clinic, making living there the ultimate way to explore the city and what it has to offer. However, many residents in Clinic love where they live simply because they can walk the few blocks to Kelley Park any time they want.
Kelley Park is a 156-acre park that is so big and so close that walking to the far end of the park will take more than twice as long as it will to walk to the front end. The amenities available just in Kelley Park alone are enough to make Clinic a great place to live. Within the park are a zoo, traditional Japanese gardens, the San Jose History Museum, and a Greek-style amphitheater that seats over two hundred people.
Of course Clinic offers more than Kelley Park. Nearly every museum, theatre, comedy club, skating rink, and art gallery in midtown is accessible by foot from the small neighborhood.
Clinic further sweetens the deal by being neither overpopulated nor expensive like many neighborhoods in the area. By being just outside of the inner city, and yet close to everything, Clinic is known as one of the best places to live in the entire city.
