What better place to live in San Jose than Central San Jose? Being right in the thick of things means you can do just about whatever you want in the city any day of the week, and much of it can be done within walking distance.
A typical day in San Jose might start at the San Jose Museum of Art. Follow it up with a trip to Saint Joseph’s Cathedral Basilica, and then take a quick romp through the Tech Museum to see just how all these start-ups really do all they do. If you have your kids with you, you might try the Children’s Discovery Museum. If you’re all on your own or with a date, you may wish to check out the Improv Comedy Club.
Perhaps the most interesting way to experience Central San Jose is as a student at San Jose State University. Many students live on or near the campus, and their experience of the city is one that truly cannot be replicated at any other time during life.
No less interesting are the experiences of those who are retiring to Central San Jose. Active retirees will no doubt enjoy much of what the city has to offer, from the San Jose Repertory Theatre to the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textures. Almost anything in the city can make for an interesting day in and of itself, so really the true limit is your own imagination.
Regardless of how you choose to enjoy Central San Jose, the end result will always be that you simply don’t have enough time to do it all. There will always be more to see and more to do, and you’ll never be able to quite finish everything. Yet, that’s exactly what makes Central San Jose so special. Every day can be a new exploration.
