Broadmoor is a neighborhood in Daly City, which is located to the southwest of downtown San Francisco. The San Francisco area includes a broad range of educational, entertainment, and cultural activities available to residents of the Broadmoor community. Thee neighborhood is near the intersection of the 1 and 280 freeways. Broadmoor is also approximately one mile from the Pacific Ocean, which is directly west of the neighborhood.
Parks are a key part of neighborhood communities in California, and Broadmoor is near several of various sizes. They include Westmoor Park, Mussel Rock Park, Palisades Park, and the Thorton Beach State Park, which is right on the ocean. The neighborhood is also only four miles from the expansive San Bruno Mountain State Park.
Residents can find shopping opportunities at the Serramonte Shopping Center, Westlake Shopping Center, and the Stonestown Galleria. Golfing is available at a variety of local courses, including the Olympic Club, the San Francisco Golf Club, the Lake Merced Golf Club, and Cypress Hills Golf Course.

Transportation in the Daly City area often requires the use of a personal vehicle. However, residents are very close to the Colma station of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system. This train system allows individuals to access the greater San Francisco area via mass transit.
