Braly Corners is a small subdivision in central Sunnyvale consisting of several dozen homes and over two-dozen storefronts. It’s the ideal community for dog lovers, with plentiful sidewalks and a dog park located within the neighborhood’s own Braly Park, one of the best parks in all of Sunnyvale.
Although Braly Corners has a number of amenities that make it a wonderful place to live, Braly Park is definitely the standout attraction. Not only does the park have a multi-use field, but it also has multiple basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts. It hosts separate older/younger children’s play areas, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, and multiple restrooms. If this wasn’t enough, then you’ll truly appreciate the traditional Japanese theme of the park.
The streets surrounding the neighborhood are all very commercial. Some of the finest ethnic restaurants in Sunnyvale are actually less than a mile away on Wolfe and Old San Francisco Road, while a number of fast food restaurants are even closer along the borders of Raynor Park itself.
Schools in the area are quite good, especially Braly Elementary School. There are a lot of choices when it comes to private schools within a short driving distance.
Other amenities include the Sunken Gardens Golf Course, at just over a mile away, and Ponderosa Park, which caters to those who find Braly Park too crowded. One of the best places to shop in the area is Sunnyvale Town Center Shopping Center, less than two miles to the northwest of Braly Corners. However, you really don’t have to go that far off if you want to do things. There are even a couple of grocery stores within the neighborhood borders. As a resident of Braly Corners, it certainly is possible to perform many daily errands without ever stepping foot in your car.
