Oxford Circle Park offers a frisbee golf course, a primary play area and more. Sycamore Park offers an off-leash dog park and a tot play area. A large supermarket and other shops are nearby to the north on Anderson Road.

The dining, shopping and cultural center of Central Davis is next to the university and is also a short bike ride or walk away from the neighborhood.

San Francisco, a two-hour drive to the West on Interstate Highway 80, offers residents many cultural and historical attractions. Amtrak commuter trains offer a more leisurely ride from the Davis train station. The Sierra ski country and Lake Tahoe are about two hours to the east on Interstate Highway 80 or highway 50.
