Northridge Hills is a neighborhood in Fair Oaks California. The borders of the neighborhood are Madison Avenue to the north, Fair Oaks Boulevard to the east, south is Sunset Avenue, and west is San Juan Avenue. Many of the residents of Northridge are members of the Northridge Country Club. It is a private club with a parkland style that offers 18 holes of classic golf.
The average home size in the neighborhood is over 2,200 square feet, though the homes that border the golf course are for the most part, much larger. The average lot size here is between one- and two-fifths of an acre.
Sunridge is an apartment complex located in Northridge Hills. It has two-bedroom apartments and is family friendly. The school bus stops right in front of the complex. Pets are allowed, and there is a laundry and a pool on site.
The Fountains of Fair Oaks is an upscale rental condo complex. There are five condo options including one- and two-bedroom units with between 1 and 2.5 bathrooms. They have been updated to include stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Units have a fireplace and washer and dryer. Small pets are allowed, and there is a pool, spa, and fitness center.
Fair Oaks Park is located adjacent to the Fair Oaks Branch Library. There are various sports fields, a playground, and lots of wide open spaces and trees. The community garden and the horticultural center are favorites with locals.
Sunrise Boulevard is one of the major thoroughfares in the neighborhood. It has a Trader Joe’s, Honey Ham, Arby’s, and a Starbuck’s Coffee Shop. San Juan Avenue also has some intriguing restaurants, varied businesses, and a supermarket.
Freedom Christian School is located on Sunset Avenue in the Northridge Hills neighborhood of Fair Oaks, and Northridge Elementary is just outside the neighborhood.
