North Davis Farms is an area of deluxe homes that is bordered by the Covell Canal to the east and south and Country Road 100/Sycamore Lane to the west. State Highway 113 runs along the western side of the neighborhood. The exclusive Waldorf School is located in North Davis Farms. A large supermarket and other shops are a short bike ride or drive to Covell Boulevard.
The university and Central Davis are a 40-minute bike ride or a 20-minute drive to the south. Covell Park and the Covell Greenbelt lie to the east, offering a soccer field and a wildlife viewing area.
Downtown and Old Town Sacramento are a 20-minute drive to the east with riverside or city gourmet dining and a major shopping center.
Covell Park is a two-hour drive away from San Francisco on Interstate 80, traveling west. The Davis train station offers a more leisurely trip to the Bay Area via Amtrak train. To the east, the Sierra ski country is two hours away on Interstate 80. Lake Tahoe and more of the Sierra ski country are a day-trip away via Highway 50, traveling east.
