Garfield is a neighborhood in Huntington Beach, which is located in Orange County. The borders of the Garfield neighborhood are Beach Boulevard on the east, Main Street to the north, and Yorktown Avenue on the south. The western boundary is Ranch Lane.

Beach Boulevard is a commercial area with car dealerships, a Goodwill Store, and a nice selection of restaurants. The Hunting Suites is a hotel on Yorktown Avenue. Where Yorktown Avenue and Main Street meet on the west side of the street, there is a small mall with shops and restaurants. On the north side on Main Street is the Five Point Plaza Shopping Center, which has an Old Navy, a Vans, and a Trader Joe’s.

Delaware Street has many medical offices and other commercial buildings. Pacifica Towers has condos and medical offices. Main Street in the Garfield neighborhood is a very busy area that is primarily commercial. However, the neighborhood has some attached housing on the north side, just past Delaware Street at Racquet Lane. There are sidewalks in this area, but it is too commercially oriented to make a good walking area. Bus service is available on major streets. Huntington Beach Union High is located within the neighborhood, on Yorktown Avenue.

The eastern part of the neighborhood is very commercial, with pockets of small single-family, detached homes and a lot of apartment buildings. In the southwestern corner of the neighborhood is a gated community, Pacific Ranch. Its residents enjoy very upscale living, a secure location, and lots of amenities. Visitors will note bungalow-style homes as well as townhouses on 40 acres. The community has a clubhouse with a pool and gorgeous landscaping. Residences are available in a variety of styles and numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms.
