This park includes lawns and landscaped areas, seven miles of hiking trails through native coastal sage scrub habitat, a community center, picnic sites, playground, baseball diamonds, volleyball court, lotus pond, and lake for fishing.

Also nearby to the north is West Los Angeles College, which is a community college that sits on 70 park-like acres overlooking Culver City, Marina del Rey and Greater Los Angeles. From the highest points of the campus on a clear day you can see the Pacific Ocean. Also to the west is Marina del Rey, which is the largest man-made small boat harbor in the U.S.
