Bentonville Apartments for Rent
Secluded deep in the Ozark Mountains, Bentonville should be a quiet mountain community – and it was, back in the 1830s when settlers discovered this quiet corner of Northwest Arkansas. The original name, Osage, was changed to honor Thomas Hart Benton in 1841. Bentonville, the county seat for Benton County, is probably most recognized as being home to Walmart.
Walmart is one of the city’s largest employers. The Bentonville town square is home to the Walmart Visitor Center, which is located in Sam Walton’s original store. Downtown Bentonville is a historic district with plenty of attractions. The beautiful Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is located downtown and is free to the public.
Downtown contains five parks and is the location of the Bentonville Farmer’s Market and many annual events, such as Around the Bloc. Held once a month from June to October, the event includes art tours, a marketplace called Artist Alleyway, and specials by downtown merchants and restaurateurs.
After finding your apartment in Bentonville, you’ll enjoy this beautiful mountain setting and all of its activities, including the Benton County Fair, which includes contests, livestock auctions, live entertainment, and the fairway.
