The eastern boundary slowly steps to the south until it meets North Columbus Boulevard. The southern boundary follows East Grant Road, East Elm Street and East Speedway Boulevard steady sinking south, until it meets up with the I-10 freeway that marks the western border.
For fun and relaxation, Ward 3 has numerous parks to enjoy like the historic Rillito Park and Racetrack, established in 1943. Smaller parks include Northcentral District Park on the east side, La Madera Park and Mansfield Park to the south, and Jacobs Park on the west.
