Another attractive element to the Valle Escondido neighborhood is the Roy P. Drachman-Agua Caliente Regional Park. Agua Caliente is a unique oasis named for the warm spring that runs through the park, bringing warm water to the park ponds. The park features a variety of tree and shrub life, from date palms to mesquite and wolfberry. It offers a view of both the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountain ranges.
