It is bordered on the north by West Moore Road. The southern border is West Tangerine Road which is the main thoroughfare from Interstate 10 to Oracle Road, the location of the Wal-Mart and other major stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is bordered on the west by North Oldfather Road and to the east by North Thorneydale Road.

From this vantage point, the views of the Catalina and Tucson Mountains are stunning day and night. Not far from Oracle Road, residents have easy access to the Catalina State Park with the hiking and biking trails. Dogs are welcomed on these trails and there are longer ones for those on horseback. Getting to the Tortolita Mountain Park is not as convenient, but there are some great trails for adventurous hikers.

To the south, residents enjoy the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum which is part zoo and part botanical garden. From the patio, the museum overlooks the Saguaro trees as far as the eye can see. The museum is near the Old Tucson Studios where many westerns were filmed.

Children in this neighborhood attend Ironwood Elementary, Tortolina Middle School, and Mountain View High School. This portion of Marana, east of Interstate 10 also has access to all the bike trails that bike-friendly Oro Valley has designated making biking through the area another activity.

For golfers, there are several courses from the municipal to the very exclusive country club. Kids will enjoy the James Kriegh Park with the heated Olympic-sized pool that is open year round. Close to Tucson, parks, schools, and shopping, this neighborhood has it all.
