Sunrise Springs Apartments for Rent
Sunrise Springs is a condominium community that is located in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson. Bounded by Swan Road to the West, Pontatoc Road on the east and East Sunrise Drive on the north, the framed stucco apartment-type homes are comprised of vacationers and permanent residents.
Close to nearby scenic areas such as Sabino Canyon and Rillito River Walk, residents enjoy covered patios and units with carpeting and ceramic tile. A pool and spa are available at the gated community as well. Families in the complex send their children to Sunrise Drive Elementary, Esperero Canyon Middle School, or Catalina Foothills High School.
The condominiums are affordably priced at around $120,000, and are centrally situated so they are in easy reach of upscale shopping centers, such as the Tucson Mall and Park Place Mall, located to the east and southeast, respectively. Fine dining restaurants are also close by, such as the Tabolino Ristorante, an Italian restaurant that offers such specialties as mozzarella caprese and as well as calamari served with tomato sauce. The zuppa del giorno, or soup of the day, is a house specialty.
Residents, as mentioned, are close to natural scenic areas too, and can enjoy the interesting desert flora and fauna, including bird species such as cactus wrens, canyon wrens, bushtits, pinyon jays, and northern mockingbirds. Quails, golden eagles, prairie falcons and American kestrels also inhabit the region. On occasion, locals will spot a jackrabbit, coyote, or even a western diamondback. Natural desert blooms, such as Arizona poppies, desert lupines, desert paint brush and marigolds populate the area too.
Vacationers and residents both agree that Sunrise Springs is a nice place to call home, whether you are a permanent resident or are enjoying a short-term stay.
