Sabino Vista Village Apartments for Rent
Sabino Vista Village is a scenic residential neighborhood located north of East River Road and to the west of Sabino Canyon Road in the Catalina Foothills. This neighborhood is located in one of the most secluded areas of Tucson with incredible views of the mountains to the north.
The relative isolation makes commuting a necessity for area residents. Luckily, much of the area recreation is only a few miles’ drive from Sabino Vista Village. The most obvious destination for recreation are the Santa Catalina Mountains just north of the area by a short distance. A mountain trek can be started by either driving until the roads stop and beginning your journey as many area residents do, or finding one of the many parks in the area from which to start.
Catalina State Park, Santa Catalina Natural Area, and Butterfly Peak Natural Area all provide a starting point for any mountain trek. Many of the parks also offer guidance that may help prevent injury during trips. The parks are also common points of interest for area bird watchers, nature lovers, and photographers. It is quite common to see groups of hikers and mountain bikers in the area. The numerous different climbs and slopes offer a variety of challenges for those looking for adventure.
If your type of adventure requires a lot less climbing and exploring, the Tucson Country Club located 3.5 miles away on Camino Principal Road may be your best bet. This large country club provides numerous opportunities for recreation and is extremely well maintained. Obviously, the biggest draw of the country club is the large golf course. The course also has a sizable pro shop with knowledgeable golf pros to assist players at all experience levels. The country club also offers tennis on one of the 11 courts, as well as lap swimming. For those just looking to relax, there is a standard pool.
