Rancho Primero Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Rancho Primero Neighborhood of Tucson rests on an elevated ridge, giving the residents an unparalleled view of the Santa Catalina mountains. Pusch Peak and Mount Kimball provide a picturesque backdrop for everyday life. Mingled among the foothills that lead to the cascade of mountains, this neighborhood, just north of the city, features a design that is attractive and smart.
The neighborhood, encapsulated by natural desert, was designed to have all of the homes face the inner looping streets that overlap to the west. To the north is East Squirrel Trail Drive as it curves inward to become North Yellowwood Trail to the west. East Wine Plumb Drive snakes from the east, covers the south and becomes a cul-de-sac beneath East Squirrel Drive.
Besides the stunning view of the Santa Catalina mountains, Rancho Primero also has plenty of nearby activities. Tohono Chul Park is a sanctuary to the desert cultures of the past and preset, demonstrating the fantastic artifacts of the historic area with contemporary flair. Quail Canyon Golf Course is to the west of the neighborhood.
For shopping, residents frequent the La Encantad, the Oracle Ridge Shopping Plaza, and the Tucson Mall. Two theaters are located nearby: the Oracle View Theater and the AMC Loews Foothills 15.
The Rancho Primero Neighborhood is served by public transportation provided by the Sun Tran Bus Line with routes 105-x along North 1st Avenue that connect to the Tohono Tadai Transit Center to the south. The neighborhood does have sidewalks, but they only trace the inside loop of homes. Tucson is a bicycle friendly city, and its dedicated bike lanes follow along North 1st Avenue.
