Cerro DE Aguila Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
With less than a dozen homes, Cerro de Aguila is one of the smallest neighborhoods in all of Tucson. Yet this gem in the Catalina Foothills is well known for its annual holiday decorations. Residents from other parts of Tucson drive through Cerro de Aguila each year to see the one-upmanship of the residents after the previous year’s competition.
Cerro de Aguila is one of the wealthiest sections of Tucson. The large mansions and the sheer size of the yards makes it unusual, even by Catalina Foothills standards.
It is a short drive to many important landmarks in the city, as Cerro de Aguila is just north of the center of the Catalina Foothills. The Tucson Country Club is just a few miles east, while the Tucson Medical Center is a short distance farther south. The University of Arizona is a short drive from Cerro De Aguila.
The surrounding area of Cerro de Aguila is almost fully residential, so shopping requires a drive. Thankfully, the neighborhood is very near a cross section of moderately major roads, making access to any part of Tucson easily accomplished.
