Jefferson County, Alabama

Centered in the heart of Alabama, Jefferson County is one of the busiest counties in the state. Birmingham, the county seat, is the largest city in Alabama. It is a college sports hub with the headquarters for the Southeastern Conference located here. Fishing is also a popular sport, and Birmingham is considered a prime bass-fishing region.
