Jones Farm West Apartments for Rent

Jones Farm West lies between Carl T. Jones Drive Southeast and Garth Road Southeast. It is within a mile of three popular recreational facilities: Jones Valley Recreation Center, Brahan Spring Park, and Huntsville Running Park.

One of the top parks in the state is nearby: Monte Sano. The park features an extensive trail system. With more than 20 miles of hiking trails and an 8-mile mountain bike trail, visitors can enjoy the rugged beauty of this mountainous region.

Eleven stone cabins, dating to the time of the Civilian Conservation Corps, are still welcoming guests at Monte Sano. The old stone lodge, destroyed by fire years ago, is being restored. A number of other great state parks are located around north Alabama.

Just southeast of Jones Farm West is a great place to enjoy water activities: Ditto Landing. On the Tennessee River, the Landing provides full services for boaters as well as a fishing dock and campgrounds.

Close by are good retail areas, too. Parkway City Mall has a Dillard’s department store, along with other nationally known retailers and eateries. Wal-Mart is across the street from Parkway Mall. A Kroger Grocery Store is also in this retail area.

Huntsville Madison County Public Library and the Huntsville Museum of Art are a short drive north. The art museum is located in lovely Constitution Hall Park.

Huntsville Municipal Golf Course is the most convenient for Jones Farm West residents. Other nearby courses include Hampton Cove and Valley Hill Golf and Country Club, both in the southeast part of Huntsville.

The University of Alabama Huntsville is the largest university, but several others serve the area as well. These include Alabama State and Alabama A & M. Marshall Space Flight Center is internationally known, and the space camp draws hopeful young people each year.
