It’s a great place to live for college students due to its location near many well-reputed schools. The University of Alabama in Huntsville is about fifteen minutes to the north. Alabama A & M University is just a bit farther north. The Virginia College at Huntsville, Oakwood University, Columbia College, Calhoun Community College, and Strayer University are also nearby.
